East Shore Baptist has an active youth ministry that includes fellowship, Christian service, travel, missions trips, social events and small group studies.
East Shore has a Word of Life Club for youth with activities including:
Fellowship, Ice Breakers, Prayer and Share, Lesson from the Word of God and snacks. At the end of the evening when time permits, youth shoot hoops, play carpet ball or just hang out and socialize together.
Youth have the opportunity to memorize scripture, develop a daily quiet time, participate in Christian services, such as car washes, volunteer at the Bethesda Mission, participate in Women and Children's Missions and other types of Christian service.
Youth also travel once a year to upstate New York for an awesome Christian Snow Camp weekend.
Over the past 15 years, youth had the opportunity to share their faith on short term mission trips to foreign and domestic locations including Guatemala, Jamaica, Haiti, Tennessee, Ocean City, Maryland, and West Virginia.
The Youth Ministry also has many social events such as the Jehovah Java Coffee House, lock-in overnights, game nights, bowling, volleyball, basketball, and movie nights under the stars.
We also have a student led small group study Sunday mornings for young ladies and young men. During these small groups, there is a time of fellowship, but also accountability and support and discussions on applying God's word in their daily lives.
If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the Director of Youth Ministries, Brian Mader, through the church office at 717-671-9752 or Amy Hiner at 717-671-1373.
