ESBC is in partnership with Living Legacy Community Church, to help facilitate the training and
planting of pastors and churches in the Capitol Region.

It was a few weeks ago, while on one of our regular morning walks that Bryan Lingle and Tom Toone first mentioned they believed I needed to take a sabbatical.

...A little background:  I have been running...now walking with Tom for about ten years now.  He's not only become my best friend, but also my primary accountability partner.  He also presently serves as the Chairman of our Deacon Ministry; and yes, you did read it right, he is a "Deacon".  The Deacons in our church are quite awesome...they actually serve as servant leaders to the families of our church, not the perversion that has infected too many churches in Baptist-land. Bryan is our co-pastor, and I have served alongside him since coming here when he was our bi-vocational Youth Leader.  I could not imagine serving alongside a finer, godlier man and pastor than Bryan; nor a better friend.
